To say your week has been crazy would be an understatement. Work has been piling up, you’ve always got some random family obligation to deal with, and you’ve got to keep your house from falling apart. You just really need a break. Luckily, you cleared your schedule for the weekend and just prepare to relax and kick back. Your wife will be running her own errands here and there, but she promised to not bother you too much unless it's necessary. You just kick back, relax, and play some video games. Your wife returns home from the store after a few hours of you gaming, and as soon as she takes a seat on the couch next to you, the doorbell rings. You are both confused. Neither of you is expecting a visitor or a delivery, so it must be a person going door-to-door or something like that.   I’ve spent months searching far and wide for this ring and I finally found it. The ring of Venus, a mythical piece of jewelry that is said to hold the power of reality inside itself. I wanted the ring for obvious reasons, and while on a family vacation acting as a cover for my search, I finally found it. The cave that housed the ring contained a massive carving telling of the ring's power, and it revealed to me that it can only be attuned to one person every 500 years. I had intended to use it to play around with lots of people here and there, but I guess that limits me to only one. The remainder of the trip I thought it through. Family can be a pain in the ass. It's not that you don’t love them, but at this time of year, pretty much every problem can be traced right back to family. Most people tend to be done with the family get-togethers by January first, but due to some last minute issues, your family decided to push back your Christmas celebration a little bit to tonight. Are you excited? That is hard to say. Everyone loves getting presents, but tomorrow is going to be a busy mess that might overshadow the joy of gift giving. Not only that, but you’ve all forgone the traditional gift giving process in favor of a whole family white elephant exchange.  Another slow day at work finally comes to an end. You haven’t had much to do at work recently, but somehow your company still manages to make it boring. Then when you do have work they load you up with 2 people’s worth of stuff to do! However a friend of yours just got a new pool installed a few months ago and is inviting a few people over for a pool party. Of course, you and your wife couldn't say no, so you packed a bag and headed over to his house. Upon arrival your friend said that you should go get changed into your trunks. When you go to grab them though, you can't find them anywhere in the bag you packed. Lunch break was one of your favorite parts of any work day. You spend a lot of time at work taking calls and just being generally busy all day, so your one hour of alone time was really special to you. Today you had decided to head just down the street to one of your favorite cafes for lunch. While you were eating, there was the faint sound of music in the background. You don’t remember the cafe ever playing music before, so it must be a new thing. For most of your time in the cafe the music simply blends into the background noise of the place, however one song strangely caught your ear.
