It was a Saturday and you were ready for a nice day of rest, working on your car out in the garage. Unfortunately, you woke up with a splitting headache. You had no painkillers in the house, so you went down to the local pharmacy to pick some up. You arrived and headed to the counter in the back. You asked for some painkillers and the pharmacist on duty disappeared into the back for just a moment, returning with a bottle of pills. You took the bottle, paid for them, and headed home. Arriving back home, you took two pills and went to get your working outfit on. You pulled it on and headed out to the garage. Unfortunately, the pharmacist had grabbed the wrong bottle of pills, and instead of giving you painkillers, he gave you the experimental gender pills. (Maybe they should keep those experimental pills locked up and away from the others.) It was your friend Sarah’s birthday tomorrow and you had completely forgotten. You hadn’t gotten her a gift, but for your birthday she went all out. Feeling like you should at least try to match her thoughtfulness, you rushed to the mall to find her a good gift. You knew she was into fashion, so you headed to a small boutique you knew she liked. Walking in the store, you felt immediately overwhelmed. You had no idea what to get her, there were too many options! You headed to the back to try and find an employee for help. You had gone to Russia on a spur of the moment vacation. You needed to get away from it all back at home. Your job had been stressing you out to no end, so this vacation was doing you wonders. You had been going around the past few days experiencing all the tourist attractions around Moscow. It’s like geek heaven; Comic-con, and you were so excited to be there. You made it onto the floor and started walking around, seeing all the great cosplays and sneakily ogling the occasional skimpily dressed woman. You began to feel underdressed yourself. You had wanted to come in costume, but you spent all your money on the pass, and as a broke college student, you had very little money to spend on a costume. Eventually you come upon a booth that says: ‘INSTA-COSPLAY’ Excited, you rushed over to see what they had. You looked over their options and ended up buying a pair of wolf ears for $5. They were surprisingly well made for how cheap they were, and you felt a little better about having no costume. You put the ears on and head back into the crowd. Its been a while since you took some free time for yourself. You’ve been pretty busy recently and some relaxation would do you good. After spending a few hours watching TV you became bored, there were only so many episodes of House Hunters one man could watch before going mad. For a change of pace you decided to go on a walk around the neighborhood. It was a pretty nice day and it was clear that others had the same idea as you, since there were plenty of people out walking.
